Nothing says winter like beautiful snowflakes, and they are one of my favorite things to decorate with! In Walmart, I became smitten with this wooden snowflake on a stand…but although I loved its neutral nature, I also knew I wanted to glitter it up a bit!
So, this is the stock “before” picture, because I was actually doing a REEL for this project, and it went blank at the end and I lost all of my pictures! GRRRRR…
Let me walk you through what I did since I lost my pictures!
I simply painted the snowflake white with my .50 Walmart craft paint, and then I sprinkled iridescent glitter on it while it was still wet! I shook it off and bam! So pretty! (Make sure you get those sides too!)
I left the wood balls and the base their original wooden stain because I loved the white and wood together! It DID need one more thing, though…
There needed to be a BOW to tie the front and the bottom together. It was super hard to get some of the paint not to run onto the wood, so that was my best bet for getting it to all flow and not look messy!
And that’s it, y’all! Just an easy peasy makeover to fit my decor a little better! I hope you LOVE it!

I love this Brooke. I actually bought wooden snowflakes from the Dollar Tree a few weeks ago, painted them white and put diamond dust on them. I love the way they came out. I love anything that sparkles.
