Outdoor chair makeover with spray paint

Today I have a super easy and BRIGHT makeover for you! Do you ever have outdoor furniture that simply gets worn from the elements? It is still a good piece of furniture, but it sure has seen better days? Well, that was this set of 2 chairs for me! They still had great bones, but bless their hearts…they were struggling.

I knew immediately that these beauties called for none other than, SPRAY PAINT! You heard that right, spray paint…and HOT PINK spray paint at that!

The process is self explanatory, but I will detail it as much as I can!

I bought the spray paint from Wal-mart because I happened to see it there and loved the color immediately! It took around 7 cans, so it was quite tedious! BUT the end result…..so worth it!

I cleaned the chairs really well with a rag so that there was no dirt sticking, and then I sat the chairs on an old piece of cloth and got to spraying! It took several coats over 2 days. I didn’t worry about the seats as much, because I knew I would have seat covers, so there was no need to waste a bunch of paint on that area.

VOILA! Pretty as a little picture! So bright and vibrant! Absolutely perfect for our pool area!

The seat covers came from Home Goods, and the table also came from Home Goods. I bought them at completely different times for different reasons, but wow…they sure look like they were made for each other, am I right??

Pay no mind to the dirt on the concrete. We just had our fence installed, and things are still being worked on!

Now I just need to see what I can spray paint next!!!

Be sure to PIN for later, so that you don’t forget about this awesome project!

Love them!!! I spend a fortune on spray paint but it’s worth it. I usually get 2 projects out of 1 can so still the cheapest way to bring sad to happy again……????????????
