Are you in the mood for some Red, White and Blue??? I am LOVING all things Memorial Day and Fourth of July lately, and I can hardly wait for you to see this one!
what you’ll need…
*tap on the bolded items to shop my affiliate links!*
- Mini cutting board (I purchased mine for $7 while thrifting!)
- Scrapbook paper of choice
- Wood star from Dollar General
- Package of mini wood stars from Dollar General
- Scrabble tiles
- Modge Podge
- Sanding block
- Re-Fabbed Branded Scissors
- Re-Fabbed Hot Glue Gun/Hot Glue
- A Frayed Knot paint in the following colors: Tahoe & Firehouse
- Re-Fabbed Paint Brushes (coming back in stock soon!)
First, I cut off the twine hanger, and traced the star outline on my scrapbook paper. Next, I cut out the star tracing and adhered it using Modge Podge. Be sure to sand the edges to give it a “finished” look (this picture was taken before I sanded).
I fired up my Re-Fabbed Hot Glue Gun and glued my wooden star directly to my mini cutting board.
Next, I painted my mini wooden stars in my Tahoe & Firehouse A Frayed Knot paint and hot glued them to the wooden star.
Repeat the steps above until you have desired amount of mini stars.
Isn’t it looking so fun??? You could absolutely leave it just like this, but I decided to try some scrabble tiles!
Once again, I could have left it alone, but mine HAD to have a Re-Fabbed Bow!
TA-DAAA! How ADORABLE is this in my Kitchen?!?!
We actually used these mini wooden stars in my most recent craft in my MVP group, and I still had plenty left over to use! Are you interested in joining us?! You’ll get immediate access to:
