While I have already shared my “vintage themed” Christmas tree once this year, while living in our rental house before moving back into this one, (You can see the original post of this tree HERE and the story of coming back to this home HERE) this is the first time I have shared my new vintage themed colorful Christmas in this home.
I have to tell you…this style is so much different from years past, but I am LOVING every single bit of it! The colors really speak to me, and I love the nastalgic feel that it has. I feel like I can really expand on it for the next few years, should I choose to!
This year, I felt like I wanted the mantel to have somewhat of a simplistic feel, although I know this would not be considered simplistic by most people. The two bare trees on each end of the mantel with the red velvet bows, the greenery just laid across and the Santa picture and mirror just all came together so easily…that it felt simple. Next year, I hope to really add more color and more glass ornaments, etc…but I love this look right now.
This Santa picture is from Hobby Lobby. I found it this year!
The glass trees felt like they added the perfect touch, tucked away into the greenery for a little height and color.
I added the star since my previous post, and I think it is beautiful, although I kind of wish it were a little bigger. It isn’t “straight”, but this is my first time ever having an actual star on my tree. I typically just have a bunch of spray, which I also love…but this was far more fitting for this tree! I found the star from Amazon. You can find the same one using my referral link HERE.
My view feels very cozy. I love sitting here and taking it all in at night. It feels so peaceful and full of joy.
The glass ornaments are literally SO beautiful…all of these colors and shapes make me SMILE!
I also really love having my gifts looking so pretty under the tree! To me, that is art! I love a good, wrapped gift! It is so much fun and so rewarding!
I hope you enjoyed my nighttime views of my living room tree and mantel this year!
If you want to save it for inspiration, be sure to PIN IT FOR LATER!
