Welcome to my Christmas kitchen! You know I love to decorate every space in my home for Christmas, and the kitchen is no exception! We spend so much time in our kitchen, and the Christmas decor brings me so much JOY! Today I am going to show you my cute little $5 Christmas tree from Dollar General in our kitchen.
If you follow along on FACEBOOK, then you had the chance to watch me decorate this little beauty LIVE! You can watch that RIGHT HERE if you missed it!
I am sharing pics of the tree at night and during the day, so you can get the full effect, because this $5.00 tree AMAZED me how it came together to still look so pretty! Wowza!
Y’all know I love a good gingerbread theme, so this was the perfect place for a few of those ornaments this year, along with my traditional kitchen ornaments I always use (see other KITCHEN TREE HERE)!
Y’all know I love to use these kid size utensils because they are just PERFECT for my kitchen tree! You can grab them on *Amazon RIGHT HERE!
I also love the HO HO HO banner, and even though it is a little big, it was the perfect addition to help make this tree stand out even more! Banners and larger items are perfect to incorporate on smaller, inexpensive trees. Remember, you DO NOT have to spend much on a tree to make it fabulous!
Instead of a traditional tree topper, I opted to stick with my theme and throw a bakers hat on top! I told y’all on the live, but I got this from a super sweet follower several years ago, and I do just love it! This hat is absolutely precious with the Merry Christmas patch, but a plain hat would be adorable as well!
I filled the tree with sweet little ornaments in red and white, and for a little extra dimension and texture, I added some “snow” to the branches using regular ol’ poly-fil stuffing. It really serves as a great tree filler as well, because the $5 tree is pretty sparse!
This kitchen Christmas tree fit perfectly on top of my vintage tea cart! If you’ve been around for a minute, you will remember when I “re-fabbed” this tea cart years ago, and I bought it for a mere $10!! Come see it HERE!
Continuing with the gingerbread theme, I added this DARLING garland and then filled the shelves with pops of red and white!
I had so much fun decorating this tree for my kitchen! You can pop over to Facebook and see step-by-step how I decorated it HERE!
Do you decorate your kitchen for Christmas? I would LOVE to see your decor!

You did such a great job on this little tree. I’d never thought of a tree in the kitchen but after you did this one I put one up above my coffee bar using mini coffee mugs from Hobby Lobby. I love your tree and thanks for the suggestion to decorate more than just the living room.
