This is one of those quick and easy 5 minute projects that can change the whole look of a plain jane lamp! {Aren’t those the greatest posts?!}
In my master bedroom, I had 2 plain lampshades with black bases. They were cute enough, but definitely lacking something. Here is a picture of one of them in our Master Bedroom Reveal.
One day, while at Hobby Lobby {actually the same day that I was taking the picture of the pom poms}, I saw some super cute flowers for $1.99 (full price). I believe they are made to be turned into little girl’s bows, perhaps, but I had other plans in mind.
Here are my new flowers! You can get these for half off or 40% off with your coupon, so we are talking CHEAP for these cute flowers! They also come in other colors. I chose gray because, as you know, I am a gray fan, and it would go great in my master bedroom! If I got tired of them there, they would also go anywhere else in my home.
The back is just felt.
I simply took my flower and hot glued it onto my lamp shade. I used 3 flowers to create a cluster. It turned out SO CUTE! How simple is that?!
This idea is just a very simple, fun, cheap and easy way to add some jazz to your simple shades! You can use pretty much any fun embellishments. The possibilities are endless!
What would you use to add some extra personality to your shade?

Really cute but I believe your shades need to bigger to balance out the side of the base of the lamp. Just FYI…BUT I LOVE THE LOOK
