Hey y’all! Today, I am sharing a SUPER CUTE pumpkin patch sign that is sure to get those creative juices flowing for all of those fun FALL crafts!!!

Here’s my cast of characters for this fun craft:
-DIY Wooden Harvest Craft Kit ($5 at Dollar Tree Plus)
-Whitewashed sign with 4×6 picture frame ($7.99 from Hobby Lobby with extra 40% off)
-Apple Barrel paint in Harvest Pumpkin, Admiral Blue, Key West and white
-Liquitex Acrylic Gel Medium
-Tiny sticks
**You’ll notice I included a pack of small whitewashed signs with jute hangers in my original cast of characters, but I ended up not using those! Just ignore that…sometimes a girl changes her mind, ya know?!

I started out by laying out my idea on the white sign to make sure everything would fit and the spacing would work. Once I saw how it looked, I couldn’t wait to start painting! The truck from the Harvest Craft Kit is stenciled on one side to help paint the details if you’re planning to create a “Fall scene,” but I wanted more of a silhouette, so I just flipped the truck over and painted the smooth side. I like to do my own thing…I think it’s the rebel in me.
I used one of my ALL TIME FAVE paint colors- y’all already know- Key West! I painted the entire truck, except for the tires.
While the truck was drying, I used the Harvest Pumpkin to paint the words “Pumpkin Patch” and I was sure to keep the finish a little patchy (no pun intended! LOL!) for a really rustic look.
Next I mixed Harvest Pumpkin paint with a little white and used the guides cut out in the back window of the truck to paint some whimsical pumpkins! I also mixed in a little gel medium- I love that stuff!- to add some texture and dimension to them.
You guys know me well enough to know while all that textured fabulousness was still a little tacky I dusted those babies with some iridescent glitter…I just couldn’t resist!!
I used Admiral blue to paint the 25 cents sign and also the tires.
Then, I decided that I loved the glitter on those pumpkins so much I went ahead and sprinkled it over everything but the actual truck. I hot glued everything to the sign and added tiny broken sticks from my yard for the pumpkin stems…and I SWOONED!
It was so stinking cute!! I went back through my Fall pictures and found the perfect pumpkin patch picture of my kiddos to add in that 4×6 opening and it was the perfect finishing touch!!
I hope y’all love this sign as much as I do! I mean, I love ALL my crafts, but sometimes they just make me so happy I can’t contain myself! This one checked all the boxes for me: Fall, pumpkins, the aqua truck and GLITTER! I can’t wait to see y’all again soon with more fabulous FALL goodness!
