Apples and teachers are almost synonymous! Today, I am showing you how me and my daughter, Eden, painted some super cute $5.00 apples from Target for the teachers this year!
There isn’t much to this project, to be honest- but I will try to walk you through it the best I can!
We took some of the thick body acrylic paint in red, green and yellow! I LOVE the thick body because the texture is AMAZING!
I painted mine with polka dots, because….well…polka dots! I painted it red then let that dry and added the yellow polka dots!
For the yellow, I added white so it was a lighter shade.
For the leaf, I painted one round of green and then added a tad bit of white to lighten it up a little and made my polka dots on that!
Eden made hers plain red with a green leaf.
We both made raffia bows, because we loooove us some raffia up in here!
We simply took the raffia bows and hot glued them to our newly painted apples!
How stinkin’ CUTE did these turn out?! I think the textured paint is what sets them apart.
This is mine!
This is Eden’s! Eden and Blaize’s teachers liked them 馃檪 We put them with some flair pens and sharpies for a little “extra”!
Hope you enjoyed this SUPER EASY and FUN teacher’s gift!聽
