I kept coming back to this bundle of gift tags… I knew they would be perfect for something, but just needed to figure out what. Then today, it HIT ME!
I figured I could take a couple from the bundle, and make some sort of cute Fall sign… so that’s exactly what I did!
Here’s what you’ll need…

- 3 gift tags (The exact set of gift tags that I used are found HERE)
- 3 mini styrofoam pumpkins (Mine are from Dollar Tree)
- Half of a wooden ruler (or anything small and wooden)
- Hot Glue
- Ribbon of your choice
- Raffia
- Twine
- Scissors
To start off, you need 3 of your gift tags to make this sign! You can go ahead and pull the twine hanger through the hole and set aside!
Now, you’ll be hot gluing them together! I started with just hot gluing the edges to each other, but knew it needed a little more security… which is where the half ruler comes in!
I layed the half ruler flat on top of all the gift tags, and hot glued it down. It acted as a good brace!
Now that the “hard” part is over… it’s time to embellish! I used green burlap, and a thinner piece of ribbon from Dollar Tree!
I simply just hot glued them together to get a layered look!
Now for our pumpkins! I found a set of three little pumpkin clips from Dollar Tree… but we aren’t using them as clips- so you can go ahead and remove them from the pumpkins!
Next, simply cut right through the middle of the pumpkins, to create a flat edge. They are super easy to cut through since they’re styrofoam!
Almost done! Hot glue the flat edge of the pumpkin down to each little tag… and admire how CUTE it turned out!!!!
All that’s left is to add a twine hanger, and a little raffia bow in the middle… then you’re done!
SEE!!!! How stinkin’ cute did this little pumpkin Fall sign turn out?!?! You can hang it, use it as a Fall ornament, put it on a gallery wall, or simply just set it around like I have here.
It’s also the perfect size to display in a tiered tray! Guys, there are soooo many possibilities!
