I am on a mission to make my home FEEL like me and my family. We have fun. We are vibrant and colorful and full of life. I want our home to reflect that. One of the first places that I feel is starting to truly have that feel in our home is the dining room!
I want to share this space with you today, as it is coming together to be so beautiful and FUN! I hope you enjoy it and find inspiration to make your house feel like YOU! Who cares what the trends are! Who cares what anyone says or thinks! This is YOUR home. It needs to be a reflection of what you love and what makes you happy. Never forget that.
You have seen this space through the years in many different ways, and although it has changed aesthetically…the space is still one of the most used and most loved parts of our home. (Yes, we eat and play games at this table. It is not just for looks!)
One of the things I am obsessed with the MOST are these colorful candlesticks!!! PLUS, some are all whimsy looking! Are they not sooooo fun???
For the next little while, I opted to use a table cloth, because the dark wood felt kind of “blah” to me. I LOVE this Amazon tablecloth, and it added the perfect pop of color and pattern to the space! If you can’t tell, I don’t think you can ever have too much color or pattern LOL
Lamps, vases, books, flowers and candles make up the bulk of the decor in this room…along with some fun mirrors and art! Those things are easily changeable but add so much fun and color to the space. I can easily change the candlesticks at any given time, and the flowers can be changed based on the season.
I give this space an A+! I am thrilled with how beautifully it came together!
Do you remember this place BEFORE WALLPAPER? It seriously doesn’t even look like the same place! I am forever in love with this wallpaper and the decision to go all in with it!
Completely OBSESSED! Can’t wait to keep sharing more of the colorful and funky changes being made in the Riley casa! We are absolutely loving it and feeling right at HOME with all of the fun!

I love your colorful dining room, especially the fancy bottles with the what looked like strawlike flowers. Something else I noticed was the milk glass vase and not sure but lamp. I was wondering if you painted the picture on the wall? It does look like your style of painting, very pretty! The different shapes and colors of the candles are striking! Your complete dining room is very unique!
