You can find cutting boards absolutely everywhere these days…and for SUPER reasonable too! I love to give them little makeovers, especially for Christmas time! Today, I am showing you a really easy Christmas cutting board makeover that anyone can do!
Supplies Needed:
Ribbon for bow
2 plastic or silicone spoons
Fabric of you choice
Scissors
Hot Glue Gun
The process is very easy and straightforward! The first thing I did was tie my 2 spoons together (you can find ones like this at Walmart or anywhere!) and then I made a bow and tied it around the top! Boom…easy! You can also do a Re-Fabbed Bow!
I knew I was going to display that at the top of the cutting board, but I felt like the bottom part needed something too! I had a plaid table runner that I found at Dollar General for $6.00 that I decided to use to make the word JOY to go at the bottom!
I laid the runner out across the bottom so that I knew how big to make the letters, and then I took a pencil to draw my letters.
I cut the letters out and then hot glued them to the board.
Once I glued the letters and attached the bow with spoons…I was good to go!
What do you think!?! Super festive, fun and easy! I love how it turned out!
Be sure to PIN this project for later!
