If you caught part one of our latest virtual home tour (if not, you can read all about it HERE!!), you know that we promised a part two and HERE IT IS!! Our sweet friend, Chrissie, and her husband, Jed, built this two-story colonial just a few years ago, but it has the warm character of a house that’s much older! Come along with us as we show you the rest of this beautiful home!!!
In part one of this home tour, we ended up in the hallway just off the family room. This “Delft Blue” by Sherwin Williams in the home office is a STUNNING color! Chrissie purchased this gorgeous display cabinet at a great price, stained it, and painted the hardware gold to get it just like she wanted. She is NOT afraid of a little DIY!
This photo shows the hallway looking back into the family room and gives a peek into one of our very favorite spots in the house – the front sitting room!
We were swooning over this gorgeous tree with the vintage glass ornaments – just like Brooke’s tree that you can see HERE!!
Ahhhh, we loved seeing more of the dusty blue velvet ribbon that was also on the staircase in the entryway! It is just beautiful paired with the deep blue sofas and shades of pinks in the room!
This mantle is so simple, yet soooo timeless!
Adding a wreath and ribbon to a mirror is such an easy way to make a statement in your decor!!
After the sitting room, we moved on to this precious girl’s room. What we loved most about this space was that even as it was absolutely perfect for a little girl, it was pretty enough to even be appropriate for someone older!
Muted pastels in different shades are everywhere in this room and we are sooo here for it!
This beautiful piece has been used in Chrissie’s house in other rooms and has now landed in this bedroom. She told us that she regularly moves furniture and decor around among the rooms to give a different look without spending more money!
The detail on this piece is amazing!
This pastel tree matched the bedroom and added a touch of Christmas spirit, just right for a little girl!!
Even the bathroom was adorable!! This neutral wallpaper can be used for years to come, even if the decor changes. Peep those little deer!
Can we just take a moment to appreciate these bow sconces?!?! We are literally OBSESSED!!!!!
Such a sweet little wreath!
You can see that Chrissie loves nutcrackers, as she uses them in much of her Christmas decor!
The view from the upstairs into the family room is soooo pretty!!
The final area we visited was the bedroom and ensuite bath of their son.
It is super-cozy – perfect for a young man, but filled with classic style, showing how even kids’ rooms can be beautiful!
Chrissie’s love of all things vintage is evident in so many details in her home, including these wooden Pinocchios!
This dresser and mirror was left in an old house that was purchased by family members. When they asked Chrissie if she happened to want it, she was THRILLED and immediately said YES!!! Can you blame her??
We absolutely LOVED this wallpaper! Chrissie said she knew she’d keep it for a LONG time – even some day when her son moves out!
These vintage-look blocks have been used in Chrissie’s decor for several years.
This close-up of the blue and black “glen plaid” wallpaper shows its detail and you can see why we loved it so much!
