I love Christmas, and I love fireplaces! Put the two together, and I am in Heaven! To me, there is nothing more beautiful than a fireplace decked out for Christmas!! While they are all quite different, I have put together 10 of my very favorite mantles to give you some inspiration this Christmas season! I almost feel giddy looking at all of these. {That isn’t weird, is it?!}
Adventures in Decorating has a gorgeous mantle, but my favorite part is the deer head with the wreath. I am also always a huge fan of traditional reds and greens.
Little Miss Momma hit the nail on the head with this non-traditional mantle full of fun, vibrant colors! I seriously love the color combinations.
The Frugal Homemaker has a stunning living room, and her the way she has her entire fireplace styled is breathtaking! This feels like such a cozy space.
This rustic mantle by The TomKat Studio is beyond fabulous! The banner sets it off to me!
The colors that The Crafted Sparrow chose in this design are amazing, and I LOVE how she made the “Have Yourself a Merry Christmas” out of different elements. SO cute!!
Jenna Burger Design styled this mantle beautifully! I love the greenery with the stockings hanging all on one side. It adds some different dimension that I hadn’t thought of doing.
These fabulous stockings are my favorite part of Four Generations One Roof’s mantle, but I also love the oversized joy! It is all just gorgeous.
French Country Cottage really knows how to decorate, period…and this mantle is no exception. Drop dead gorgeous.
Sugar Pie Farmhouse has the cutest Christmas home tour, but this mantle…it is just too dang clever! I love the “snow” drift and the candy canes. Her whole room is spectacular.
Lilacs and Longhorns have a very simple but beautiful mantle that makes me want to curl up with a good book!
Well, what do you think? Are you feeling inspired and ready to tackle that Christmas decorating!? I AM!!!! Which of these mantles is your favorite? Are you like me and can’t decide? They are all beautiful in their own right. How could you ever chose just one?

I loved seeing these mantles. I moved into a new home about a month ago and my mantle is black with cream, burgundy and black granite. I am looking forward to decorating it for the holidays. Thank you for all of the good ideas.

A former home of ours in Colorado had a fireplace with no mantle at all. Can you begin to fathom the logic behind that???!!! I badgered my poor husband into building one before Christmas rolled around. We now live in Florida and, ironically, have the most attractive and elaborate fireplace of all our houses. Go figure.
